Lots of space, trails, farmland, and wildlife. The nature center is very informative and has many live animals there. The host a variety of events and classes. Check it out!
Love this park. I take my little fur buddies there to get in scenic walks. There is always some extra activity going on that people can enjoy (and your little buddies too). And now the light festival is back-it's a must see!
Very nice park, it has a campground, a playground, and a few group picnic areas. They gave a nature center and they have a very nice festival of lights which starts on Thanksgiving and ends around New year. The price is reasonable for the festival of lights and the proceeds goes to help the poor. They do ask for donation of can goods, but it's ok if you don't want to donate. Also the restrooms are very clean and well kept.
The nature center is great. The selection of animals is a bit random, but there are crows, owls, a kestrel, turtles, snakes, bugs, fish, all sorts!
There are smell and touch boxes, books and a puppet theater.
What a wonderful park. Clean, well maintained. The nature center was incredible. I definitely want to come back and hit their trails and visit when it's warmer.
This is such a great park!
Outside, there are trails and a lovely Wizard of Oz themed playground.
