Mind Eraser?!? - um, NO! this side should be simply called 'The Headache!'...I could NOT and did NOT enjoy this ride at all, I spent the whole time trying to keep my head from knocking back & forth against those so-called cushion shoulder straps...
This is a Vekoma SLC. It’s pretty obvious that this ride hurts. There is a reason why it’s called Mind Eraser.
This ride is not that bad it just makes my head hurt and feel really dizzy, but other then that this ride is nice.
The elements are rough. The coaster is rough. Im left with a dent in my head. The color scheme sucks. The elements are overused and unoriginal. I would rate this -5 stars if I would Horrible coaster in an Ok park
We bought a season pass early in the year and we decided with two boys and this so close to us that it would be a great idea. They've been four times without me with my husband but today was my first day the entire season going due to injuries from my motorcycle accident that prevented me from getting on the rides I desired to ride. Overall the park was clean and the lines to include getting my season pass picture taken right after entry were bearable. Some rides like the Joker's Jinx were dead and we had literally run up the ramp to board the cars that were about to leave. The Joker's Jinx was in the local and national need for a 45 minute break down that left riders trapped upside down until the Prince George's County Fire and EMS arrived to assist the riders down. I sort of think that may be the reason for the short line but I'm not certain 100%. The Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth was a fun and over 44" tall appropriate ride with spectacular views of FedEx Field and a few notable megachurches in the area BUT it wasn't in my opinion worth the hype and the long wait in line. It was fun, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't something to scream about. My favorites were the Joker's Jinx, Superman and the Fireball. I enjoyed the day at the park as the crowds weren't stupendously crazy but the food service was deplorable for even such a smaller pre-back to school/holiday weekend crowd.
This whole experience has made us reconsider getting a season pass for 2018. We will see but as of now, it is a NO.
We went to a Saloon type restaurant first and the selection of food did cater to a more general population not pescetarian, vegan or vegetarian but I sort of expected that and ordered the sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese and green beans. Our eldest son went to Gator McGee's on our way there for his food and had a long wait in a medium length line. Then he was chased by a swarm of bees from the counter until about midway to the Saloon place. Later we chose to get our youngest a snack from the Hurricane Bay area and it was a long wait in a short line as well but the WORST?? Aviator Grill... The worst!! I waited TWENTY FIVE MINUTES for a veggie burger basket as I watched a girl be trained on how to deal with our meal pass situation and giving us our unlimited drinks, the other server complaining about everything and walking away from the counter to go cook while another girl stood there and play fought with yet another worker in the back...THEN if I didn't ask about my food that I watched go in to the window and sit for another five or so minutes, I would still be standing there looking stupid right now! They definitely need more adults there and not careless teens who are there for a check and not the best example of the Six Flags company. We sat and ate terrorized by more bees then we left to get our youngest to the Warner Brothers Prop House before we left. My husband stayed back and ordered a funnel cake for he and I to share from the Gotham City Food Court and the cake was severely undercooked in the center. It was edible though. I didn't go expecting five star restaraunt level meals but for amusement park food it was at the bottom of the barrel on taste and overall food preparation and quality of service. I've received better at the most ghetto of ghetto carry outs or McDonalds restaurants and that is sad.
