Was supposed to be there on an open ended stay with a company CC. Had to go to the office 4 times in 6 days to get the key redone because they checked me out. Thin walls. And saw roaches toward the end of my stay. Had to wake up the night desk clerk once by banging on the counter
The room was disgusting. It was fithly with whatever was on the bed sheets, mattress, as well as other places in the room and bathroom. There was a fire hazard with one of the wall sockets. There were roaches crawling on the walls within an hr of even being there. All of which the night employee and the morning manager were not concerned with. They were not cooperative when it came to trying to talk to them about it and had forced us out the hotel at 9am after being told that we were to check out at 11am with the person driving not having sleep in 24 hours. With telling us "if you have any complaints then you will leave now" after telling them that the one driving had had no sleep. This was by far one of the WORST places I have ever been to. If i could post this review with out a star I would, but being as I have to put a rating as such, it will be the lowest I can give.
Seriously, I don't feel we're messy, demanding guests and we tip generously, but this last visit especially we've found service highly lacking at the motel and along the Route 3 corridor.
We stayed Saturday night and this hotel was really great. Very affordable and good enough location to Chesapeake bay. But we will go back to this hotel, the room was clean, bed very comfortable, and quiet. The most impressive part of my stay was Lindsey who Checked us in. I questioned upgraded to a jacuzzi room and instead of focusing on upselling me, she instead took me to a room to show me so I could decide. Lindsey acted like she took personal ownership of the hotel and was so friendly, she made sure I knew everything I needed. We did take the jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi was extremely clean along with the rest of the room. We will most certainly stay here again and I do recommend this hotel.
Not spectacular. Usually fairly clean, convenient-ish to Prince George's Equestrian Center.
We stay here at least twice a year for dressage competitions at Prince George's Equestrian Center. This last visit - 23-25 June 2017 -left us feeling lukewarm about our go-to show lodging. We came back from a day of competing to find food THAT WASN'T OURS left in the room. Guessing the maid couldn't exchange two sets of towels without stopping for sustenance and she just didn't have the strength to throw her leftovers in the trashcan? Oh wait, it's because the trashcan was full. Wonder whose job it was to empty it?
Front desk staff was absolutely horrendous. My friend and I were unaware that you had to be 21 to check in and when we got there the guy said our confirmation never came in even though we showed him the email and confirmation number, and then when we were forced to call rides to leave the place, he threatened to call the cops while we were waiting inside and we had to wait outside in the cold and the rain. He asked how long until our rides would be there and I told him and he still kicked us out.
