Soul Food Soul Food Soul Food!!! Mrs. K's has the best sweet tea and/or half and half north of North Carolina! This restaurant is a hidden gem and the only complaint I can come up with is the size of the restaurant (even though I mostly use carryout) The best thing about this place is the variety of foods it has daily. Everything from catfish to french toast to smothered pork chops to collard greens to turkey wings and ever chitterlings. Its hard to pick a favorite breakfast is dynamite as is dinner. Also the menu is completely open all day. OMG and their desserts wow. I live in Severn and make 27 mile drive to enjoy Mrs. K's delicious food. I highly recommend any all to this establishment!

Looking for some traditional breakfast food well you found it. Not too many places I know of better pancakes then IHOP but this is one of them. Everything was to my liking the pancakes were light and fluffy but filling the bacon was crispy and thick just the way I like it and my eggs were perfectly cooked. It's a nice quaint little place but you can easily spot it from the road with the big K hanging above. I could easily find myself eating breakfast from here every other day so if you're nearby drop by K's motel and restaurant
The restaurant serves good food. The breakfasts are especially good. They have food for kids. It is not a wheelchair friendly place. People from all over the area you go there just to eat their food. The staff is friendly and courteous. They even have a singing waiter. But he does need voice lessons.
I got the turkey dinner. The turkey was pretty good except for a few hard/crunchy pieces, the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were sour. The potatoes looked old (brownish/tan color) and the mac n cheese was mushy and barely warm when I received it. The best part of my meal was the stuffing. Not sure if I'm going to give it another try or not.
